4. Commissioning

4.1 Setup instructions

Protect the device from shocks, vibrations, strong heat or cold, drafts, chemicals and moisture by
choosing a location where it will be installed.
Place the scale on a firm, free and horizontal surface.

Make sure that no cables or other objects are trapped under the scale.

4.2 Power supply
Power is supplied as standard via a 9VDC 600mA adapter or 4xAAA batteries.
4.3 Commissioning
Take the scale out of its packaging and place it on a worktable with its feet up. Remove the shipping
protection screw.
Place the scale on a hard, flat and even surface and adjust the feet of the scale for levelling.
Insert the batteries or connect the mains adapter. The scale is now ready for use.
