Specific safety instructions for the battery charger
• This charger should only be used to charge Li-Ion batteries.
• If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its authorized
technical service or by qualified personnel in order to avoid risks.
• The terminal of the battery that is not connected to the frame must be connected first. The
other connection must be made on the frame, away from the battery and the fuel line. The
battery charger is then the one that is connected to the mains.
• After charging the battery, disconnect the battery charger from the mains. Then, remove the
frame connection and then the battery connection.
• Do not charge a leaking battery.
• Do not use chargers for works other than those for which they were designed.
• Before charging, make sure your charger matches the household power supply (AC).
• The charging device must be protected from moisture.
• Do not use the charging device outdoors.
• Do not allow the contacts of the battery or charger to short circuit.
• Respect the polarity "+ / -" during charging.
• Do not open the unit and keep it out of the reach of children.
• Do not charge batteries of other manufacturers or different models.
• Make sure that the connection between the charger and the battery is installed correctly and
that there is no obstruction between them.
• Keep the battery charger slots free of foreign objects and protect the charger against dirt and
moisture. Store in a dry place protected from frost.
• When charging the battery, make sure the charger is in a well-ventilated area and away from
flammable materials.
• Batteries may become hot during charging. Do not overcharge the batteries. Make sure that
batteries and chargers are not left unattended during charging.
• Do not recharge non-rechargeable batteries, as they may overheat and break.
• Longer life and better performance can be obtained if the battery pack is charged when the
room temperature is between 18°C and 24°C. Do not charge the battery at a room temperature
below 4.5°C or above 40.5°C. This is important, as it can prevent serious damage to the
battery.

• The battery pack of this tool is distributed with low charge, so you must charge it
completely before using it.
• Batteries may leak or explode if not charged or handled correctly. Always consider the
following precautions when handling batteries. Make sure the machine is turned off before
removing or inserting the battery.
• Small leakage of liquid in the battery may occur under extreme temperature or operating
conditions. This does not necessarily indicate a defect in it. However, if the outer seal is
broken and the liquid comes in contact with your skin, wash the affected area quickly with
soap and water. If the liquid touches your eyes, wash with clean water for at least 1 minute
and seek medical attention immediately.
• Do not use this battery with any other product.
• Do not attempt to place the battery in the opposite direction.
• Do not short-circuit or attempt to disassemble the battery.
• Do not expose the battery to flames or excessive heat, even if it is severely damaged or
can not longer hold a charge, as it may explode and cause a fire.
• Do not immerse in or expose the battery to water.
• Do not store or transport the battery together with loose metal objects, such as drill bits.
• Batteries are prone to leakage when discharged. To avoid damage to the product,
remove or charge the battery when no charge remains. Store the battery in a cool place
when not in use.
• After prolonged use, the battery may overheat.
• Before removing the battery, turn off the machine and let the battery cool down. Do not
use the battery if you notice any discoloration or distortion of its housing.
• Never attempt to open a battery for any reason. If the covering plastic opens or breaks,
stop immediately the use and do not recharge it again.
• Do not store or transport a spare battery in pockets or toolbox, or anywhere it may come
in contact with metal objects. The battery can short circuit, causing damage to the battery
itself, burns or fire.
