9. TRS/RCA STEREO CHANNEL INPUT
CONNECTOR (CH 5/6)
Input the left and right channels of a stereo
signal into the respective odd and even
channels of the mixer. These inputs are
intended mainly for use with instruments and
equipment having stereo outputs, such as a
synthesizer or CD player. If you have a mono
line instrument or device, use the left channel
connector with TR jacks.
10. RCA STEREO CHANNEL INPUT
CONNECTOR (CH 7/8)
Input the left and right channels of a stereo
signal. These inputs are intended mainly for
use with CD/MP3 players and DJ's surfaces.
NOTE:
The RCA Stereo Channel (CH 7/8) will only
work if LINE is selected by repeatedly pressing
the MODE button on the Media Player until the
display shows 'LINE'.
11. MIC/LINE SWITCH
Set this switch to MIC or LINE for channels 1 to
4, depending on the level of the input signal.
Set the switch to the LINE ( ) position.
CAUTION!
To avoid damage to speakers, be sure to
turn off amplifiers (or powered speakers)
before setting this switch to MIC or LINE. We
also recommend that you turn the MASTER
LEVEL control to the minimum setting before
operating the switch, to avoid excessively loud
noises that could cause hearing loss or device
damage.
12. PHANTOM POWER SWITCH
If you are using a condenser microphone,
please connect it to either input 1 and/or 2
and press the PHANTOM POWER button to
the ON position.
CAUTION!
Be sure to leave this switch OFF if the device
or instrument that you are using does not
require phantom power. When using phantom
power, do not connect any devices other than
condenser microphones to the XLR input jacks.
Other devices may be damaged if connected
to phantom power.
13. EQUALIZER
HIGH: Determines the level of the high
frequency band for each channel.
LOW: Determines the level of the low
frequency band for each channel.
14. FX CONTROL
Adjust this knob to set the level of the Reverb.
15. MEDIA PLAYER CONTROLS
MODE: Press this button repeatedly to to cycle
through Line, USB and Bluetooth music sources
PLAY/PAUSE: Press this button to toggle
between play and pause while using Bluetooth
FORWARD/BACKWARD: Press briefly to skip to
the next/previous track while using Bluetooth
or USB. Press and hold to adjust volume for
Bluetooth, Line and USB modes.
15. MEDIA PLAYER
To play music via the CH 7/8 input, select LINE.
The display shows the 'Aux' symbol and the
word 'LINE'. To play music from a USB storage
device, insert the device into the USB socket
and the music will begin to play. There's no
need to select USB mode first. The display will
show the USB symbol and the elapsed track
time. The play/pause and forward/backward
buttons can be used to control the playback.
To play music over Bluetooth from your phone,
select Bluetooth mode. The Bluetooth symbol
will be displayed. If you haven't previously
paired your phone with the player, the display
will be flashing 'bt'. Go to the Bluetooth
settings on your phone and make sure it's
scanning for available devices. The player will
show up as 'Bluetooth' in your phone's list of
available devices. Select this item to pair with
it and connect automatically. Once your phone
has connected with the player, the 'bt' will stop
flashing. The play/pause and forward/backward
buttons can be used to control the playback.
16. USB CONNECTOR
Use this port to connect a USB drive or device.
17. LEVEL CONTROL
CAUTION!
Use these controls to adjust the volume
balance among the various channels.
To reduce noise, set any LEVEL controls on
unused channels to the minimum.
18. SPEECH/MUSIC SWITCH
Set this switch to VOICE ( ) to optimize the
mixer settings and sound quality for speech
purposes and announcements. Set this to
MUSIC ( ) to optimize the mixer for musical
performance.
