Basic requirements for safe working practices
WARNING!
Electrical safety
Do not use a battery pack or appliance that is damaged or modified. Damaged or modified batteries
may exhibit unpredictable behaviour resulting in fire, explosion or risk injury.
Do not open the battery.
Protect the battery from moisture.
Do not operate the battery in the open air.
Do not expose a battery pack or appliance to fire or excessive temperature. Exposure to fire or tempera-
ture above 130° C may cause explosion. The temperature of 130° C can be replaced by the tempera-
ture of 265 F.
Never operate the battery under unsuitable ambient conditions (i.e. where combustible gases, solvents,
dust, vapors or moisture is present).
Have servicing performed by a qualified repair person using only identical replacement parts. This will
ensure that the safety of the product is maintained.
Safety of persons
Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the battery; avoid contact. If contact accidentally
occurs, flush with water. If liquid contacts eyes, additionally seek medical help. Liquid ejected from the
battery may cause irritations or burns.
Work area
Ensure that there is enough space in the work area.
Keep the work area clean and dry.

The battery is intended solely for supplying power to the CLECO cordless EC tool.

Do not use it in areas where there is a risk of explosion.

Observe special requirements on packaging and labeling when being transported.
