• Green if the measurement is between 34.0 °C (93.2 °F) and 37.9 °C
(100.3 °F).
• Red if the measurement is between 38.0 °C (100.4 °F) and 42.9 °C
(109.3 °F).
5.4. OBJECT TEMPERATURE READINGS
• Do not use this mode to take body temperature.
• When reading the temperature of an object, its surface temperature is
displayed, which may be different from the internal temperature, especially
if the surface is exposed to direct sunlight.
1. Place the thermometer in your hand and press the measurement (B)
and memory (C) buttons simultaneously. The word "food" will appear on
the LCD screen.
2. Place the thermometer within 5cm of the liquid or surface where you
want to measure the temperature.
3. Press the measurement button (B) to start the measurement.
4. Withdraw the thermometer from the object. The LCD will show the measured
temperature. You can press the memory button (C) to return to standby
mode. If no button is pressed, the thermometer will automatically return to
this mode after 1 minute.
5. After 1 minute of inactivity, the thermometer will turn off automatically.
5.5. MEMORY CHECK
This thermometer can memorize up to 9 forehead temperature measurements.
The current measurement is always stored in the last memory position.
When the memory is full, the oldest measurement is always deleted from
the memory.
Press the memory button (C) to access the memory. You will see the storage
number and temperature.
Press the memory button (C) repeatedly to access each of the measurements
taken.
Press the measurement and memory buttons simultaneously to return to
standby mode.
5.6. CHANGING BETWEEN FAHRENHEIT AND CELSIUS
In standby or measurement mode, you can switch between degrees Celsius
(°C) and Fahrenheit (°F) by pressing the memory button (C) for a couple
of seconds until you hear one or two beeps.
