PRECAUTIONS
1. Fire prevention
The engine oil is gasoline and must therefore diesel, paraffin, etc., must not
be used. Clean up all fuel leaks with a clean rag. Keep both gasoline and
flammable liquids away from the generator because the temperature
around the exhaust silencer can be very high during use.
Use the generator on level ground. If the generator is tilted, leakage may
occur.
2.
Preventing inhalation of fumes
Exhaust gases contain carbon monoxide, which is poisonous. Never use
the generator in poorly ventilated areas. Avoid use indoors whenever
possible and ensure that there is good ventilation.
3.
Burn prevention
Never touch the muffler or muffler cover when the generator is running or
just stopped.
4. Electric shocks, short circuits
To prevent electric shocks or short circuits, do not touch the generator while
it is running or if your hands are wet. This generator is not waterproof, so it
should not be used in a location exposed to rain, snow or water sprays.
The generator must be grounded to prevent electric shocks. Please,
connect a good length of heavy cable between the generator's grounding
and the external device.
5. Other safety tips
Make sure you know how to stop the generator quickly and how to use all
controls. Never allow another person to operate the generator if they have
not been instructed in its use.
Always wear safety boots and appropriate clothing. Keep children and keep
children and pets away from the generator when in use.
