• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
• Children shall not play with the appliance.
• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are order than 8 and supervised.
• Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.
• The appliances are not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate
remote-control system.
• Metallic objects such as knives, forks, spoons and lids should not be placed on the hotplate since they
can get hot.
• This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:
• Staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environment;
• Farm houses;
• By clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environment;
• Bed and breakfast type environments

IN THE EVENT OF A FIRE INVOLVING THE HESTAN CUE SMART INDUCTION BURNER:
• Calmly unplug the unit from the socket.
• Attempt to extinguish the fire taking appropriate precautions for electrical and/or oil fires.
• In the event of an uncontrollable fire, contact the emergency services immediately.
• Remove and discard all packaging materials and labels before using system.
• Do not allow liquids to boil over cookware. Do not allow food or liquids to heat directly on the Hestan Cue
cooktop. Do not allow food or liquids to enter the internal parts of the Hestan Cue Smart Induction Burner.
Follow cooking instructions carefully, and never overfill the cooking vessel with foods or liquids, as they may
boil over and compromise the performance and safety of the Hestan Cue Smart Induction Burner. If liquids
appear to be boiling over the cookware, unplug the unit immediately, allow to cool before cleaning or
recommencing cooking. If liquid enters the induction burner, there is a risk of short circuit and electric shock.
