Models TT300000DS, TT300201DS, TT300400DS,
and TT300601DS
Read the assembly
instructions and the user's
guide completely before assembling or
operating the Bed Box. Failure to understand
how to assemble or operate the Bed Box
COULD cause personal injury or even death.
It is the owner's responsibility to
secure the Bed Box to a base that will
provide safe and reliable operation.
Installation requires 2
people and heavy lifting.
NOTE (All-Weather models only):
installation, spray and wipe down the unit with household
furniture polish to prevent the unit from dulling under
weather conditions.
1. Remove any items from the truck bed and clean truck
bed of any debris and dirt.
2. Open the Bed Box drawers just far enough to reach in
and unscrew the rubber stoppers from the underside of
the top of the box (see Figure 3). Completely remove the
drawers and set aside.
3. Slide drawer box (A) into the cargo area of the vehicle.
4. Locate the lock down holes (B) in the
OPTIONAL:
brackets on the bottom of box (A) (see Figure 4).
Prior to drilling, check underneath
vehicle to make sure there is nothing
below the holes, such as electrical wiring, hoses, fuel
tank, fuel lines, brake lines, mufflers, spare tire, or
other important parts which could be damaged by
drilling. Contact with electrical wiring, hoses, fuel tank,
fuel lines, brake lines, mufflers, spare tire, or other
important parts COULD result in death or serious injury.
Eye hazard. Wear safety
glasses while drilling pilot
holes.
If there is interference, adjust location as
necessary.
When drilling into metal use a center punch to mark
holes. Using a 1/8 inch drill bit, drill pilot holes through
the existing holes in the brackets and through the bed
of the vehicle. Clean metal shavings from truck bed.
Inset the 3 inch self-tapping screws through the holes in
the box and tighten down snuggly using a power drill/
driver and a 5/16 inch socket.
