Operation (Continued) —
Make certain that the jack leg is
supporting enough weight to
prevent the Caddy from moving. Otherwise, it may
unexpectedly rotate out of position, which COULD result
in death or serious injury.
ALWAYS support the Hitch Caddy
with the jack leg when the Caddy
has been extended. The Caddy is not designed to
be extended without the support of the jack leg.
Components will eventually fail, which COULD cause
personal injury or even death.
DO NOT work underneath the Hitch
Caddy while it is in the open position.
7. To return the Caddy to the stowed position after it has
been extended, push the jack handle to lower the tray
and release weight from jack leg. Use the tray handle to
swing the Caddy toward the vehicle, until the swing arm
is within an inch or two of the main arm brace.
ALWAYS push the handle. Pulling the
handle will not retract the jack leg
and trying to force it may cause non-warranty damage
to the handle.
