Install the spring with engine cold:
1. Remove clutch-side casing.
2. Loosen clutch housing nut and remove housing.
3. Remove the belt from rear pulleys.
4. Slide off the rear pulleys.
5. Remove the nut securing the clutch shoe holder plate.
Notes:
It is recommended not to fi x the clutch in a vice, fi x a calliper
wrench in a vice, fi t its pins into the holes of shoe clutch plate to
prevent plate rotation while undoing the nut.
Before completely loosening the nut, set the clutch unit on a
bench then press on the clutch with one hand while undoing the
nut with the other hand; pay utmost attention since the spring
pushes on the clutch.
6. Change the existing spring with one having an increased load.
7. Reassemble the parts.

a) changes or tampering with the product;
b) incorrect assembly or use;
