EN
This ensures the safety of the measurer.
Do not let children use the laser measurer unsupervised. They could
inadvertently dazzle other people.
Do not operate the measurers in an explosive atmosphere, for instance near
ammable liquids, gas or dust. The measurer produces sparks which could
ignite dust or fumes.
Attention
- Do NOT tear o or destroy the warning labels on the device.
- Keep the device and the batteries out of the reach of children.
- Do NOT point the laser beam emitted from the device at a human being.
- Do NOT place the device in an area where the laser beam can easily reach the
eyes of people nearby, whether on purpose or not.
- Do NOT point the laser beam at a highly reective object as the reected laser
could cause optical damage to the user or any person nearby.
- Switch o the device when not in use. If not, there is an increased risk of looking
straight into the laser beam inadvertently.
- Do NOT attempt to alter the properties of the laser beam as you run the risk of
exposure to serious laser radiation.
3. OPERATION
3.
This laser rangefinder is a wide-angle measurer. Use this device scrupulously
following the instructions below to guarantee optimum performance.
-Do not point this device at the sun or any other intense source of light as this
will lead to incorrect or inaccurate measurements.
-Do not use the device in damp, dusty or harsh environments. Prolonged
exposure to unfavourable environments will lead to damage of the internal
components of this laser rangefinder or inaccurate measurements.
-When this device is moved to an environment where the ambient temperature
differs significantly to the previous one, it may only be used when its
temperature reaches the approximate ambient temperature.
-This device may produce incorrect results when it measures certain slightly
coloured liquids, transparent glass panels, polystyrene foam or low density
objects.
-The highly reflective surface of certain objects measured will deviate the laser
beam and give an incorrect measurement.
-A very bright environment, associated with a low-reflective measuring surface
will reduce the measurement range and the measurement accuracy too.
- Do not immerse the device in water! Remove dust with a clean, soft, damp
cloth. Do not use corrosive or volatile substances to clean this device. Take care
of the optical components (such as the laser receptor lens and the laser beam
emission point) as you would with glasses or lenses of a camera.
-Recalibrate the accuracy of the device prior to any use after a fall or
compression.
