short press the first key (G) to adjust set value.

3) Measurement button
3-1. Measurements H (Fig.B)
Place the hand-held device (G) on the measurement starting point, press the
button to switch on the laser, point the laser beam on the target and press the
same button (G) again to start the measurement.
COMMENT : If the device is not used for 15 seconds after it has been switched on,
it goes off automatically. If you need more than 15 seconds to measure an object,
press the button (G) again to switch the laser back on. Do NOT point the laser
beam straight at a human being or an animal.
Do NOT look straight into the laser beam, with or without an optical device.
3-2. Isolated measurement (Fig.B & Fig.C)
1. Press the button (G) to switch on the device. The device then goes into isolated
measurement mode.
2. Press the button (G) to start up the laser. The indicator lamp of the laser goes
on, then flashes. Point the laser beam at the target.
3. Press the button (G) again to start the measurement.
2-3. Continuous measurement (location, tape measure) (Fig.B & Fig.C)
Continuous measurement is usually used to reproduce a dimension, such as the
icon of a building. In continuous measurement mode, the device can be moved
forwards and backwards according to the target point and the measurement is
displayed on the screen in real time.
For instance, if you measure the distance from a wall to a specific position, you
must simply activate the continuous measurement mode and move the device
forwards and backwards.
The screen will display the continuous measurements and indicate when the
predefined distance is reached.
1. Continue to press the button (G) to switch to continuous measurement mode.
2. Move the device until the required distance appears at the bottom of the
screen.
