3. Initial testing of the unit.
Activate and run the unit as follows (add  or  as appropriate):
Switch on unit and touch 'i' to enter menu screen
Access 'Technician' menu (code required)
Set 'RO' algorithm if appropriate
Set debug screen to 'on'
Scroll back to main screen and check as follows:
• Check cycle selection on all cycles.
• Select and run a cycle – (debug screen active)
4. Performance testing of the unit.
NOTE! The Hydrim M2 unit has been Type tested and Works tested in the factory in
accordance with EN ISO 15883-1/2. A certificate confirming this is included with
each machine. Full retesting should not be required on installation unless
specifically requested testing to local or national guidelines is required.
The unit should however at least be performance tested during installation in
accordance with the SciCan recommended test procedure as outlined in the
Product Advice Sheet SD-357 entitled - "Hydrim M2 Washer Disinfector
recommended (minimum) testing requirements".
Refer to this document when performing the following tests.
Test the installed unit as follows (add  or  as appropriate):
Chemical dosing check
Cleaning efficacy check
Test for residual proteins
Full cycle temperature profile check (P3)
Dryness (P3)
