Charging the Batteries
Leave the loudspeaker on until the hissing stops. The end of the hissing means that
the batteries are discharged. Now shut off the loudspeaker. Switch the charging
switch on the back of the loudspeakers to the desired position:
OFF CHA. = the batteries are not charged;
QUI. CHA. = quick charging, approximately 8-10 hours;
NOR. CHA. = normal charging, approximately 16 hours.
Bear in mind that frequent quick charging can shorten substantially the life of the
batteries.
WARNING: Before charging please ensure that only rechargeable batteries have
been inserted. The charging of normal batteries is not technically possible and may
lead to damage to the machine.
Connect the loudspeaker battery charger to a duly installed 230 V/50 Hz socket.
Insert the charger plug in the DC-IN socket on the back of the loudspeakers.
1. Connect the mains adapter and the sound source to the transmitter.
2. Switch on the loudspeakers (see Switch ON/OFF).
3. Turn on the audio source and adjust the loudspeaker volume.
If you do not hear any sound after a short time the following adjustments must be
made:
Loudspeaker and Headphone tuning
1. Shift the transmitter CHANNEL switch to A or B. It is located on the back of the
transmitter.
2. Turn the volume of the loudspeakers to about 1/3 of the total volume.
3. Fine-tune carefully the loudspeakers (TUNING) on the transmitter until the
sound can be heard without any hissing or disturbance. If the sound is distur-
bed, choose another with channel with the CHANNEL selector and fine-tune the
loudspeakers with the fine-tuning knob.
The LED's on the transmitter and loudspeakers must light up.
The LED's on the loudspeakers are green when they receive the audio signal from
the transmitter.
BASS:
This selector is used to adjust the bass output of the loudspeakers.
AUDIO IN:
This socket makes it possible for you to connect the loudspeakers directly to other
