If skin or eyes have come into contact with the cleaning medium these must immediately be

rinsed with running water.
•
Before starting up the cleaner, the functioning of the safety facilities must be checked.
Before utilization get acquainted with the functioning of the control handles.
•

Before opening the lid, touch the metal in order to discharge any electrostatic charge. To avoid
electrostatic charging, connect the earth cable.
In case of manual cleaning the drawing chimney must be activated.
•
•
The spray gun cleaner should be installed in a well ventilated area away from electric switches,
sources of heat and sparks.
•
Check before the use if the supply- and the drain hose of the solvent are put right in the barrels.
Pay attention to the hose and check if they are not wore out or are damaged; in that case you
must replace them. Also check if the drain hose runs down and prevents that it is immersed in
the solvent.
It is prohibited to let the pump run without pressure or without the pump absorbing sufficient
•
fluid from the barrels.
•
When the pump makes noise or sounds louder than normally, this means that there is no or only
little solvent in the barrel. Place new jerry can.
The paintstop filter must be cleaned regularly.
•
•
The surly grip of the security valve must be stripped regular of any remainders of paint.
Clean regularly the working surface and air- and smoke slide.
•
•
Check regularly if the solvent level in the barrels is not too high to prevent the solvent the barrels
for flood.
Ensure that in the jerry can on the right minimum 7 litres of solvent is.

When the solvent in the jerry can (right jerry can) is used for several washings, it must be
replaced. Polluted solvent can be regenerated by means of a special distillation unit (for example
URS 600) or can be delivered to a specialized treatment of waste company.

When the installation is not used for some months, the inside and the hoses must be rinsed twice
with clean solvent. For that purpose turn on the pomp by means of the timer over the transfer
control. Hereafter remove the polluted solvent from the jerry can and turn off the pump.
Clean and check the spray nozzles in the gun cleaner when the pieces of work are insufficiently
•
cleaned.
•
Spay-guns, caps and cups which must be cleaned in the automatic washing machine, must only
be placed above the nozzles and in the holders such as been shown on the signs.
The following measures must be taken, in the space in which the gun cleaner is installed,
before you start working with the machine.
•
Install suitable fire extinguishers including portable extinguishers. The fire extinguishers should
be kept in perfect conditions and be checked by an expert every 6 months.
Staff can, in case of an emergency, leave the installation room quickly and easy.
•
•
It is prohibited to use fire as an extinguisher. The burning materials can, when in contact with
water, form hazardous and possibly flammable gasses or quickly rise in temperature.
•
Please follow your local fire department regulations.
2.4 Safe maintenance
To guarantee a safe maintenance of the gun cleaner the following regulations be observed:
Turn off the compressed air when carrying out repairs or maintenance.

Regularly check the safety facilities on being complete and functional.
•
•
Removing or manipulating safety facilities is prohibited.
Maintenance of the HR 3000 is to be carried out by qualified staff and according to the
•
instructions in this manual.
•
The symbols on the self-adhesive plate give indications of possible risks. The plate should be kept
clean and is to be replaced when (partially) damaged.
•
It is prohibited to use the machine when (one of) the symbols are not present on the front side.
Only original parts are to be used in repairs and maintenance.
•
Check if the earthing is sufficient (Earth cable supplied).
