Do not connect the generator to the electrical
installation of a building if it does not have a main circuit
breaker, installed by a qualified technician.
If the main circuit breaker is not switched off,
when the mains power is restored, there may be
return current in the generator and cause:
▪ Electrocution of the user or others in contact with the
generator;
▪ Fire or explosion of the generator and fire in the
building's electrical installation.
The generator must not be switched on or connected to
other power sources.
You must switch off the generator before you
reset the main circuit breaker to use the mains
electricity again.
Fuel
The generator's engine is designed to run on unleaded
95 petrol. Never use contaminated fuel or an oil and fuel
mixture. Avoid dirt or water in the fuel tank.
To check the fuel level and fill the tank, the engine must
be stopped.
When refilling the fuel tank (2) do not add petrol above
the maximum level, the upper limit of the filter.
Operation at high altitude
At high altitude, the usual air/fuel mixture will be
extremely rich. The performance will be poor and fuel
consumption will increase. A very rich mixture will
decrease the spark and cause a bad start.

gauge
Performance at high altitude can be improved by
installing thinner fuel line hoses to the carburetor and
adjusting the idle speed. If you always operate the
generator at altitudes of more than 1000m above sea
level, you should seek specialist technical assistance to
make
the
necessary
appropriate fuel injection, generator power decreases
by an average of 3.5% for every 300m increase in
altitude. The altitude effect on power will be greater if
the necessary adjustments are not made.
If an engine prepared for high altitudes is used at
low altitudes, the air/fuel mixture will reduce
performance and may overheat the engine causing
serious engine damage.
MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
Before any maintenance or cleaning work, place
the appliance on an even surface, and remove the
cap from the spark plug (19).
Checking and changing the engine oil
Do not run the engine with low oil level as this can
cause serious engine damage.
1. Position the generator on a flat floor;
2. Remove the oil filler cap (cap with dipstick) (11);
3. Check the oil level indicated on the dipstick;
4. If the oil level is low, add oil (15W40) until the
appropriate level is reached.
To change the oil:
5. Put a drain pan under the oil drain plug (12);
6. Untighten the oil drain plug and drain all oil;
7. Tighten the oil drain plug and fill with new oil;
8. Check the oil level and adjust to the appropriate level.
