artificial lightning. Only use the
unit with the bag or blower chute
(optional) correctly installed.
During operation the bag must be
kept properly closed to prevent
material being flung out.
Do not empty the bag with the
engine running. Turn off the
engine when the unit is not in use.
Splintering wood can be
dangerous. If, for example, a
helper is feeding wood into the
unit(optional), make sure he does
not remain in the danger zone
when the unit is put into
operation.The more people there
are standing around the unit, the
higher the risk of injury becomes.
Never use the unit on slippery,
wet, loose or frozen ground. To
prevent accidents, it is essential
that the unit should be standing
securely. Only operate the unit
with a correctly installed suction
hose (this is true for equipment
furnished with a suction hose).
Do not perform any assembly,
setting or maintenance work
when the engine is running.
Only use the unit on level ground
and not on slopes. If the unit tips
over or the operator slips over,
accidents can happen.
Before working on the unit:
Protect yourself from injury.

- Wait until all moving parts have
come to a complete standstill
- Remove wire from spark plug
to avoid accidental starting

You cannot operate the unit
without bag or blower chute.

Always operate the unit with
closed bag or blower chute
