The vibration values specified and the noise
emission levels determined were measured
according to a standardised test procedure and
can be used to compare different power tools.
The total vibration values specified and the noise
emissions specified can also serve as a prelimi-
nary assessment of the strain.
Prolonged use may cause in fatigue due to vibra-
tion and noise. Allow adequate breaks.
Warning!
The actual vibration value whilst using the ma-
chine may vary from that stated in the operating
instructions or by the manufacturer. This can be
caused by the following factors which should be
taken into account before and during every use:
•
Is the device being used correctly
•
Is the type of material being worked on correct.
•
Is the device in good condition
•
Are the handles or optional vibration handles
installed and tight on the machine body.
If you notice an uncomfortable feeling in your
hands or discolouration of the skin whilst using
the machine, stop immediately. Take adequate
work breaks. Failure to take adequate breaks can
cause hand-arm vibration syndrome.
The degree of stress resulting from the work and
use of the machine should be assessed and work
breaks taken accordingly. This can significantly
reduce the degree of stress during the entire
work duration. Minimise the risk to which you are
exposed through vibrations. Care for this machine
in accordance with the operating instructions.
If the machine is used on a regular basis, you
should contact your specialist dealer and pur-
chase anti-vibration accessories (handles).
Avoid using the machine at temperatures of
t=10° C or below. Prepare a work schedule that
allows vibration stress to be limited.
A certain amount of noise exposure from this
device is unavoidable. Schedule noisy work for
the intended and permitted times. Observe any
customary quiet periods and keep the duration
of your work to the absolute minimum. Hearing
protection should be used to protect yourself and
persons nearby.
