5. Sensitivity Guide
1.
Setting 0 ( full anti-clockwise)
places the controller in stand-
by mode and it will not activate.
2. Setting 1 to 7 progressively in-
creases the range of detection.
3. Setting 8 ( fully clockwise) se-
lects night-time only operation (for nocturnal ani-
mals), setting 8 has the same detection range as
setting 7. Note: the solar panel must be connec-
ted for device to sense it is night-time.
6. Adjusting Spray coverage
1.
Select a hose in a good condition with no leaks.
Water pressure will decrease with increasing hose
length and this may reduce spray coverage. Check
operation with a short hose to become familiar
with performance at good operating pressure .
2. Before attaching the hose to the Hose Quick Con-
nector, always remember to flush the hose to re-
move debris that may damage the Controller or
Filters. For example, small stones ,dirt, ants etc.
Flushing the hose will also remove air pockets so
the deterrent will spray properly .
3. After attaching hose, turn ON water. Your tap
must be fully on for correct operation of the
sprinkler.
4. Set the Range Control to 6 or 7 .
5. Stand behind or to the side of the Sprinkler and
slowly move your hand about 1m in the front
of the Motion Sensor to activate the Sprink-
ler. Check the angular range of the spray and
adjust (see 1 & 2)the left and right stoppers.
Adjust the Sprinkler to send water toward the
area viewed by the Sensor.
6. Activate the Sprinkler as in Step 3 .Adjust the di-
stance of the spray by rota-
ting the knob 5 on the top of
the Sprinkler. Spray distance
may also vary with your
hose water pressure.
7.
Before disconnecting the
hose from the Controller,
turn water OFF and activate
the Controller with you hand
to depressurize the hose .
