General safety instructions

Residual risks can occur when dealing with equipment, despite observance and compliance with all rules and
regulations. These are specifically highlighted in the individual chapters.
Guidelines and instructions
Please note the following instructions in order to use the lift table correctly and as intended:
The operator of the scissor lift table must be properly instructed in the use of the vehicle by their superior.
The user must have read and understood the operating manual.
In addition, applicable national legislation and regulations must be observed.

Operator

The operator must be mentally as well as physically capable of using the scissor lift table.

Checks

According to BGV D 27 §39, the scissor lift table must be checked once a year by a competent person
according to the "Principles for the testing of industrial trucks" of the Hauptverband der gewerblichen
Berufsgenossenschaften (German Federation of the Commercial Professional Associations). A test log must be
created and entered in the test book.

Technical modifications

the equipment will void the declaration of conformity.
Should you have any questions about additional accessory equipment, please contact the dealer from which
you purchased the additional equipment, and consult the dealer from which you purchased your HanseLifter

Original parts and accessories

Use only original HanseLifter parts for your HanseLifter equipment. The installation of spare parts and
accessories from other manufacturers is not tested and approved and can adversely affect the properties of the
scissor lift table for this reason. Any liability of the manufacturer is excluded for damage caused by the
installation of non-original parts and accessories. In addition, the warranty is void if spare parts or third-party
accessories are installed without authorisation.

General description

The scissor lift tables are hydraulically / manually operated lift tables for the transport of goods.
The load is lifted by means of a hydraulic pump, the pump is operated by foot using the foot pedal. Due to the
high transmission ratio of the lever arm of the pedal and the hydraulic pump, it is possible to lift heavy loads with
relatively little effort.
The load is transported solely by pulling or pushing on the handle. The only way to brake the lift table is by
muscle power. Locking brakes are installed to protect against accidental rolling away.
