ADJUSTING WATER TEMPERATURE
Turn on water so that cold water is as cold as it will get and hot water is as hot as it will
get. Remove the Rotational Limit Stop from the valve by sliding it off the stem. Place
handle back on stem and rotate fully counterclockwise to the hottest position. Place a
thermometer in a plastic tumbler and hold in the water stream. If the water temperature
is above 120°F, the Rotational Limit Stop must be rotated counterclockwise to decrease
temperature. Reinstall the stop by sliding it back on to the stem before reinstalling the
handle.
MAKE SURE COLD WATER FLOWS FROM THE VALVE FIRST.
MAKE SURE WATER (AT THE HOTTEST FLOW) DOES NOT EXCEED THE
TEMPERATURE LIMIT ALLOWED BY YOUR PLUMBING CODES (120°F OR 110°F).
ARA AJUSTAR LA TEMPERATURA DEL AGUA
Abra el paso de agua de manera que el agua fría se enfríe tanto como pueda y que el
agua caliente se caliente tanto como pueda. Quite el Tope de Límite de Rotación de la
válvula deslizándolo hacia afuera del vástago. Coloque la manija de vuelta en el vástago
y gire por completo en dirección contraria a las manecillas del reloj hasta la posición
más caliente. Coloque un termómetro en un vaso de plástico y déjelo en el curso de
agua. Si la temperatura del agua está por sobre los 48,9 ºC, el Tope de límite rotatorio
debe estar rotado en dirección contraria a las manecillas del reloj para disminuir la
temperatura. Vuelva a instalar el tope deslizándolo nuevamente en el vástago antes de
volver a instalar la llave.
ASEGÚRESE DE QUE PRIMERO FLUYA AGUA FRÍA DESDE LA VÁLVULA.
ASEGÚRESE DE QUE EL AGUA (EN EL FLUJO MÁS CALIENTE) NO EXCEDA LA
TEMPERATURA LÍMITE PERMITIDA POR SUS CÓDIGOS DE PLOMERÍA (48,9 ºC Ó
43,3 ºC).
RÉGLAGE DE LA TEMPÉRATURE DE L'EAU
Ouvrez l'alimentation en eau à ses températures minimale et maximale. Retirez le
limitateur de rotation du robinet en le glissant le long de la tige. Replacez la poignée
sur la tige et tournez-la dans le sens contraire des aiguilles d'une montre jusqu'à la
température maximale. Placez un thermomètre dans un gobelet en plastique et
tenez-le sous le jet d'eau. Si la température de l'eau est supérieure à 49 °C, tournez le
limiteur de rotation dans le sens contraire des aiguilles d'une montre pour réduire la
température. Replacez le limitateur en le glissant sur la tige avant de réinstaller la
poignée.
ASSUREZ-VOUS QUE C'EST D'ABORD DE L'EAU FROIDE QUI COULE ET QUE. LA
TEMPÉRATURE DE L'EAU NE DÉPASSE PAS LA LIMITE PERMISE PAR LES CODES
DE PLOMBERIE (49 OU 43 °C).
