4. Transfer data from Computer to a USB-stick or DVD
A. USING A USB STICK:
1. Plug your blank USB into your computer
2. Go to your Download File that you retrieved in Section 3 above – click on the ZIP file and UNZIP
the contents of the Download file to a folder of your choice on your computer. You should see the
following folders and files.
3. Copy all of these and paste them onto your USB Stick Drive
B. USING A DVD:
1. Insert a DVD in your computer's DVD drive
4. Go to your Download File that you retrieved in Section 3 above – click on the ZIP file and UNZIP
the contents of the Download file to a folder of your choice on your computer. You should see the
following folders and files.
2. Burn all of these files onto a single blank DVD, or, for operating systems with built-in burning
functionality, right click the .ISO file and select "Burn". We recommend burning the CD at the lowest
supported burn speed
5. Install data from DVD into your navigation system
1. Remove the USB or DVD from your computer
2. Insert the USB or DVD into the USB or DVD portal on your navigation system. The navigation system will
detect the update automatically. Keep the engine running during the update.
3. Launch the update by clicking on 'Yes'. Danger Alerts is then installed onto the navigation system's
internal memory.
4. Once the installation is finished you can remove the USB or DVD from the navigation system.
