INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
1.
Remove the existing sun visor and wiring harness from the truck. Keep existing mounting bolts, as they will be
required for re-assembly of the new visor.
2.
Detach the lights and wiring harness and install on the new sun visor.
3.
Attach the supplied grommet in the location shown and run the wiring harness end through the hole.
4.
Assemble the backing assembly shown in the figure below with the 6, ¼-20 x ½" hex head bolts, washers and
locknuts supplied. Do not tighten bolts, as they will require adjustment later on.
5.
Assemble the backing assembly to the sun visor halves using the 23, #10-32 bolts, washers & nuts supplied. Be sure to
tuck the wiring harness in behind the backing assembly. Do not tighten the bolts, as they will require adjustment at
final assembly.
6.
Align the assembled sun visor with the truck and "snug-up" the ½" bolts that were removed from the factory
sun visor. Measure the distance from the top of the bottom windshield trim to the bottom of the sun visor on
opposite sides and adjust accordingly.
Using the sun visor as a guide, mark the cab through the end holes using a marker.
7.
8.
Loosen the sun visor up enough to move it out of the way, and drill marked areas with a 25/64" drill bit.
9.
Refer to "Nut-Insert Tool Instructions" to set the nut-inserts into the roof.
10.
Re-align sun visor, and tighten all hardware accordingly.
Attach the ends to the cab using the ¼" Phillips Head Bolts provided.
11.
12.
Remove the plastic and clean with glass cleaner if required.
