The suction pipe (15) is designed with a special antistatic material. The
vacuum cleaner is equipped with an earth connection on the bayonet
connection (14), thus eliminating any risk of static electricity.
It is absolutely necessary to use the two filters (12).
Make sure that the two filters are fixed correctly.
Make sure that the vacuum cleaner, the two filters and the accessories
used are dry, to prevent dust from sticking on or being encrusted in
them.
Always monitor the airflow indicator (2c). When it turns cherry-red, this
may be a sign that the container is full. In this case, empty the vacuum
cleaner as described in the Section "Emptying the container".
To clean liquids, SPIT recommends that you work without the two filers
(12). Nevertheless, the two polyester filters (12) are appropriate for
cleaning liquids. The two integrated sensors stop the vacuum cleaner
when the container (7) is full. Empty the vacuum cleaner as described in
the Section "Emptying the container". For safety reasons, if the vacuum
cleaner has not been switched off, the anti-restart mechanism remains
active. The vacuum cleaner will only work again after being switched off
(switch (2a) in position ''0'') then switched on again. The sensors will
again stop the vacuum cleaner immediately.
•
Make sure that your suction pipe (15) is emptied and dried
properly.
•
If dust is cleaned consecutively, use dry filters.
•
To dry any of the components of your vacuum cleaner, run your
vacuum cleaner empty.
If you alternate frequently between cleaning dust and cleaning liquids,
SPIT recommends that you remove the two filters (12) when cleaning
(but never when cleaning dust !!).This way, you will avoid soiling the
liquids
filters, or using a new set of dry filters.
To remove the filters, see the Section ''Minimum cleaning and
maintenance''"
