S3 PV 623-IS models: Start operations
S3.1 Fill the reservoir.
time, use this procedure to fill the reservoir:

Remove the hydraulic pressure

necessary hydraulic fluid but leave
a small air gap.

Step Procedure
Seal the system.

Close the refill valve and then wind

the volume adjuster fully clockwise
and counter-clockwise until the
pressure starts to increase.
The counter-clockwise operation
refills the pressure mechanism without a
change in pressure.

Step Procedure
To remove air from the pressure

mechanism, wind the volume
adjuster through one full cycle
(counter-clockwise then clockwise).
Seal the system and continue with

the normal pressure operation.

Release the pressure: Open the refill

pressure release valve.

decrease (-) the pressure with the
volume adjuster.
If increasing pressure and get to the

limit of travel, close the refill valve
again and wind the volume adjuster
fully counter-clockwise.
Continue to do steps 2 to 4 until the

necessary pressure is acheived.
