Using SitWalk
Caregivers can work in pairs or alone. The patient should sit up straight and/or
lean forward somewhat.
Lean the patient to one side and pull by shifting weight. Work with straight
arms. Then, lean the patient in the opposite direction, continuing until the
patient is sitting fully against the back rest.
If you are working alone, be sure to move from side to side, so that you always
work with straight arms and shift your weight.
A helpful hint is to place a FootStool under the feet, so that the
thighs are lifted somewhat, which reduces friction.

material life, hang dry or tumble dry on low heat.
