P) Reill the oil tank as described in paragraph 10.6.
WARNING: It is recommended to avoid seizing that could cause the break of the ixed ring. After its insertion,
insert the rotating part of the seal itself.
15. Tools
Tools can only be used by DRENO POMPE qualiied personnel. They are:
•
Allen keys, size: 14 mm
•
Seeger pliers
•
Phillips screwdriver
•
2 lat scr ewdrivers
•
Hexagon spanners: 24-30 mm
16. Troubleshooting
If the pump does not start, the reason may be one of the following:
•
No power supply (check if the fuses have blown, or if the circuit protection relay has
tripped)
•
The selection switch is in the OFF position (move it to ON)
•
No phase (check the connection)
•
Blocked impeller
•
Seized seal or bearings.
If the pump does not stop, the reason may be one of the following:
•
The stop regulator is faulty (clean or replace the stop regulator).
•
The pump is unable to empty the tank up to the stop level. There may be leaks in the
hydraulic system, or the ball intercept valve preventing the backlow of the liquid may be
faulty, or the pump may be working inside an air pocket,
•
or the pump may be undersized for the pumping level r equired.
If the pump is working, but the delivery level is insu cient, or there is no delivery , the reason
may be one of the following:
•
The pump direction of rotation is wrong (this is only possible with three-phase motors):
•
Check the wear of the hydraulic section.
•
The pump is working inside an air pocket (switch the pump of and then back on a few minu-
tes later, after bleeding the system);
•
The delivery piping is clogged, the ball intercept valves or the gate valves are partially closed.
The pump operates intermittently:
Check if one or more of the following conditions are present:
Liquid too hot (exceeding 40 °C)
Liquid too cold (below 0°C)
The pump working with an excessively high number of start-ups/hour.
The luid level in the tank is not su cent to operate the pump
The power supply voltage is outside the required limits (+/- 5%)
The impeller or the blades are obstructed by an obstacle that prevents correct rotation
If the fault persists, contact technical support.
If the pump stops unexpectedly, the reason may be one of the following:
•
Broken bearing.
•
Burning or loss of charge of the winding, which therefore is faulty.
•
Excessive power supply overload.
•
If the cause is excessive power supply overload, the installer may correct the power supply;
in the other cases contact the qualiied technical support service.
If the user detects and extended intermittent operation of the electric pump, it will be neces-
sary to identify the cause, which may be due to wrong use. If after switching the pump of and
then back on, the intermittent operation persists, call DRENO POMPE technical support, or
DRENO POMPE qualiied personnel.
