Troubleshooting

If the trouble you are experiencing is not listed below or you are unable to remedy the problem by
yourself, please contact your fischer contact. Stop using the tool immediately.
Malfunction
Nails are driven not deep
enough.
Nails are driven too deep.
Nails break.
Nails bend.
Nails do not hold in steel
base material.
The fuel cell is empty
before all nails of a package
were used.
The nose piece hasn't
returned into its initial posi-
tion after driving a nail.

Driving power is too low.
The nails are too long.
The working surface is too hard.
Driving power is too high.
The nails are too short.

→ Move the depth adjustment switch to
standard driving depth.
→ Use shorter nails.
→ Use a different fastening method.
→ Move the depth adjustment switch to
reduced driving depth.
→ Use longer nails.
→ Move the depth adjustment switch to
standard driving depth.
→ Use shorter nails.
→ On even surfaces use the removable stand
to ensure correct contact. Pay special
attention to hold the tool perpendicular to
the surface.
→ Use a different fastening method.
→ Move the depth adjustment switch to
standard driving depth.
→ Use shorter nails.
→ On even surfaces use the removable stand
to ensure correct contact. Pay special
attention to hold the tool perpendicular to
