• The device must be protected from dampness,
extreme cold and heat.
• Do not use this device in the vicinity of explosive
gases, vapours or excessive dust.
• Make sure that the cables do not become a haz-
ard. Make sure that the cables cannot become
squashed or submitted to sharp edges or be
damaged in any way.

stallation, the devices connected, the functions,

• Never hold the device directly to your ear. Hu-
mans cannot hear frequencies > 16 kHz, but
they might the device emits at a high volume
and then therefore it might be harmful, if the
ear is exposed to them over a longer period.

4. Important information on the function and use
The device does not hinder the animals from being in the area. It makes them feel
uncomfortable and the animals will try moving to other areas, which appear more
pleasant and quieter. If the irritating sound persists, the animals will try to leave the
area. It may take a few days or weeks until the effect fully takes place. The changing
frequencies prevent the animals from getting adapted to the noise. The device should
be in permanent operation, so that the effect is not interrupted. The LED flashes are an
additional feature to deter the animals. Especially at dusk and at night the flashes will
startle the animals. The dispersion of the sound is related to the local surroundings.
