Install a crane pole with sufficient capacity to lift the weight of the electric pump and the pipe comple-
tely filled with water, above the vertical of the well.
NEVER INSTALL THE UNIT MANUALLY OR USING THE CABLE AS A SUPPORT.
7. REFILLING THE ENGINE
THE SUBMERSIBLE MOTOR IS WATER-COOLED.
IT IS THEREFORE NECESSARY TO REFILL THE
MOTOR WITH CLEAN WATER.
Place the electric pump in vertical position and
unscrew screws 1 and 2 in connection with the
suction grille (see diagram).
Fill clean water into the hole 1
until water flows out of hole 2.
Wait a few minutes and repeat the operation
carefully, tapping lightly to allow air to escape from
the interior.
Close screws 1 and 2 again.
After this operation, the electric pump must remain
in a vertical position to prevent water from esca-
ping from the motor.
