8. INSTALLATION
Before the first start-up, please check carefully that the power cable has not been damaged during
transport.
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD THE CABLE BE USED TO RAISE OR LOWER THE
ELECTRIC PUMP.
The unit must be handled with care and attention, AVOIDING ANY SHOCK.
Position the electric pump under the elevator and start the installation as follows:
1. Check that the drive end counter flange bolts are tightened securely.
2. Attach a clamp to the upper end of the first pipe section.
3. Secure the power cable to the pipe by means of cable ties.
4. Lower the electric pump into the well until the clamp rests on the well.
5. Attach the second length of pipe to the first after attaching another clamp to the upper end of the
pipe.
6. Remove the first clamp and lower the entire system until the second clamp rests on the well.
7. Repeat the operation until the desired depth is reached.
The pump should remain AT LEAST 5 METRES BELOW THE DYNAMIC LEVEL of the well water.
NEVER LET THE ELECTRIC PUMP REST AT THE BOTTOM OF THE WELL.
