Function for recognition of an open window
In the factory setting, the window function is set to On
(function enabled). When the factory settings are restored,
the window function is set to On by default.
With Function key 13 the comfort mode or the sensor
mode can be selected if the comfort option has been set for
the sensor.
Press Key 11 (+) and Function key 13 simultaneously and
keep it held down for at least 1 second to call up the win-
dow function setting (enabled = ON, disabled = --).
The display shows the status of the function: F On (function
ON = enabled), F -- (function OFF = disabled). No symbol
flashes.
F On: Window function enabled
F --: Window function disabled
Key 11 (+) and Key 12 (-) can be used to switch between
the function ON (F On) and the function OFF (F --).
The setting can be saved by pressing Function key 13. If the
key is not pressed, the function is terminated after 1 minute
without saving the setting.
The window function can be activated in all operating
modes, with the exception of the antifreeze mode.
When the window function is activated (F On) and the
temperature is stable, the decimal point flashes. (see "Stable
temperature").
If the decimal point flashes, the room temperature is stable.
The display shows a flashing snowflake when an open
window is detected.
The target is 7°C in this case (not shown).
When the function detects that the window has been closed
again, the system returns to the previous mode (comfort
mode, time mode, boost mode, etc.)
If the On/Standby 14 key is pressed, the system switches to
the standby mode (with beep).
If another key is pressed, the "window open" status is
cleared and the system returns to the previous mode (com-
fort mode, time mode, boost mode, etc.)
Note: The window function only works when the room tem-
perature is stable (shown by the decimal point flashing).
Stable temperature
"Stable" means that the temperature change measured by
the thermostat's sensor is stable enough for the thermostat
to distinguish between a temperature change caused by
normal regulation (normal change) and a temperature
change caused by the "window open" function (abnormal
change).
Example of situations in which the room temperature is not
stable:
- When the bathroom radiator is switched on, it takes a while
before the target value is reached.
- When the target value is changed, it takes a while before
the new target value is reached.
Resetting to factory settings

buttons simultaneously for at least 5 seconds.
