Option 2: Installation when ceiling joists are 16 in. to 24 in. apart.
Step 1: Attaching fan housing to ceiling joist with suspension brackets

• Insert suspension bracket (E)
into bracket cover on the side of the fan
housing (A) with the duct connector flange.
Insert suspension bracket (F) and suspension
bracket (G) on the opposite side of fan
housing (A).
• Secure fan housing (A) to the joists with
suspension brackets (E, F, G) using
wood screws (C). Ensure flang on
fan housing (A) is flush with the bottom
of the ceiling joists.
• Secure all suspension brackets (E, F, G) to the
fan housing (A) using the machine
screws (D). Tighten with a phillips screwdriver.
