SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
This product is only suitable for one person. This product is suitable only for even, paved
areas. Do not use on public roads. Always wear appropriate safety clothing (helmet and
elbow, knee and wrist guards) and do not ride barefoot. Do not ride at dusk, at night or in
poor visibility conditions. To avoid putting yourself or others at risk, do not ride on carri-
ageways and in passageways, or on slopes and hills. Uphill or downhill riding should not
be attempted. Avoid riding near stairs and open water. Check your product before every
ride to make sure that all parts are properly attached and that the product works in line
with its intended use.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
The product must be assembled by an adult and may only be used under supervision
by an adult. Faulty assembly can lead to injury to the user or other persons. This sports
product is for learning and training balance and physical coordination and is not a toy!
1. We have already pre-assembled the unicycle. Assembly should therefore be rather
easy. Be sure to assemble the pedals on the proper side (they are labelled R and L, as
is the pedal crank on the inside).
2. Insert the seat tube into the frame. Bring the lever of the quick-action clamp into
vertical position and first tighten the nut on the other side by hand, then turn the
quick-action clamp lever back. If the connection is not tight enough, you should
repeat this procedure and tighten the nut further. Loosen the nut a little if you cannot
move the lever.
3. Screw the pedals into the thread of the pedal crank. Be sure to assemble each one on
the proper side. Finally tighten them using the enclosed spanner.
4. Inflate the tyre. Keep in mind that your whole body weight will be supported by this
one single tyre, which is why it needs to be inflated more than a bicycle tyre (to a
maximum of 2.5 bar).
5. Adjust the saddle to its correct height and position. The wide end goes to the back
(the clamp opening for adjusting the height also goes to the back). Be careful not to
pull out the seat further than the minimum, as indicated on the seat tube. Your
stretched-out leg should reach the pedals in their lowest position. Tighten the quick-
action clamp as described under item 2.
USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
Should this be your first time to ride a unicycle, you will need a great deal of perseverance,
as learning to ride a unicycle does not happen overnight. As a beginner, you should get two
persons to help you by supporting you on your right and left arms while starting out, to give
you a chance to learn to keep your forward/rear balance. Once you can keep your balance,
you can try riding on your own or along a wall for added support. Once you're quite confi-
dent with riding your unicycle, you can try to mount your unicycle freely. At first, it is best
to position the unicycle next to the kerb, with the right pedal facing backwards and slightly
downwards. This will prevent the unicycle from rolling backwards at first. When mounting
freely without using the kerb, the rear pedal should point downwards at a 45-degree angle.

Now place the left foot quickly onto the pedal and drive off. Check that all parts are aligned
correctly and tightly before each use, particularly the axle fitting and the quick-action lever!
ONCE YOU'RE REALLY CONFIDENT WITH RIDING ON
THE UNICYCLE,YOU CAN PRACTISE THE FOLLOWING TRICKS:
Swinging back and forth:
when swinging back and forth, you should try to stay on the spot with the unicycle. You
can hold your balance by holding your arms out straight to the left and right. Try to swing
back and forth in short steps. If one of the pedals is down, you only need one foot for
swinging. This is a good preparatory exercise for one-legged riding.
One-legged riding:
before attempting one-legged riding, you should be able to swing back and forth with
only one leg on a pedal and the other leg stretched out or resting on the frame. For
one-legged riding, you have to step on the pedal in front with a little more power and let
it roll without unobstructed. You can find more tips and tricks in specialist books or on
the internet.
MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
Although the product has seat caps to protect the seat when the unicycle falls over, but
you should always use the stand included in the package. To do this, bring one of the
pedals into its lowest position and lean the unicycle with this pedal first against the long
side of the stand. While doing this, the tyre rests against the shorter stand side, lying on
the floor.
Use a dry or damp cloth only to clean the product; do not use special cleaning agents!
Check the product for damage or traces of wear and tear before and after each use. Do
not make any structural changes. For your own safety, please use original spare parts
only. These can be sourced from HUDORA. If parts become damaged or if sharp edges or
