Ensure that nothing can fall onto
the scales as otherwise the glass
might break.
Only clean the scales with a wet
cloth. Do not use abrasives or sol-
vents. Do not immerse in water.
Never alter your therapy, medicine
intake etc. due to measurement
values. Before altering therapy a
doctor with calibrated scales has to
confirm the measurement values
and make a diagnosis.
The device has not been designed to be operated
by persons (including children) with restricted phys-
ical, sensory or mental capabilities or who are inex-
perienced or lack the necessary knowledge, unless
they are supervised by a person responsible for
their safety or from whom they receive instructions
on how to use the device. Children should be
supervised to ensure that they do not play with the
device.

Function

The scales measure the normal body weight of a
user at home.
The scales are a medical product that make meas-
urements as per Article 1 of Directive 93/42/EEC
(MDD) and therefore have the CE symbol with the
number of the testing body cited TÜV Nord:
CE0044.
