CAUTION

PURPOSE OF USE

• Grinding operations
• Smoothing operations
• Metal brushing operations
• Abrasive cutting operations
• Use of grinding wheels with any diameters and for any uses other than the established diameters and uses
• Use in environments containing potentially explosive atmospheres
• Trigger locking with adhesive tape or clamps.

WORK AREA SAFETY

Danger of tripping over the power cord.
Do not operate the tool in environments containing potentially explosive atmospheres, because sparks may be generated
which can ignite the dust or fumes.
Keep children and bystanders away from your workplace while operating the tool. Distractions from other people can
cause you to lose control over the tool.

ELECTRICAL SAFETY

- The plugs of the power tool must match the socket. Do not modify the plug in any way.
- Do not use any adapters with electrical plugs.
- Do not expose any power tools to rain or humidity.
- Do not use the power cord to carry, pull or disconnect the power tool.
- Keep the power cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts. Damaged or twisted power cables result in an increased
risk of electric shocks.
- When operating a power tool outdoors, use an extension suitable for outdoor use. Using a power cable suitable for outdoor use
results in a decreased risk of electric shocks.
PERSONNEL SAFETY
- Use personal protective equipment (see below).
- Check that the switch is in the OFF position before connecting it to the power source.
- Remove any adjustment wrench before turning on the power tool.
- Keep proper balance at all times. This will enable better control of the power tool in unexpected situations.
- Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery. Keep your hair, clothing and gloves away from moving parts. Loose clothing, jewellery,
and long hair can get caught in moving parts.
- If any dust suction and collection devices are available, check that they are connected and used properly.
- Do not place the angle grinder before the grinding wheel has stopped completely.
- Do not modify the tool. This can reduce the effectiveness of safety measures and increase operator risk.
- Have the tool repaired through trained staff and only using original replacement parts.
