3. Remove the collet by pulling it out of the spindle (see above B).
4. Insert the replacement collet into the spindle and tighten the collet nut by turning it
clockwise by 17mm & 11mm Spanners (refer to FIG. 2).
NOTE
To prevent damage to collet, do not tighten the collet nut without an accessory
installed in the collet.
INSTALLING ACCESSORIES
1. Turn off the tool.
2. Loosen the collet nut (see above A) counter-clockwise by 17mm & 11mm
Spanners (refer to FIG. 2) until it is the collet is loose inside the collet nut.
3. Insert the accessory shank into collet as far as it will go.
NOTE
Make sure the correct collet is used for the accessory. If collet is too large,
replace the collet with the next smaller size.
4. Tighten the collet by turning it clockwise by 17mm & 11mm Spanners (refer to
FIG. 2) until it is as tight as you can make it.
NOTE
Do not use pliers to tighten the collet nut. Use the small spanners supplied. Over
tightening will cause damage to the tool.
5. Pull on the accessory to ensure it is securely in place.
