Operation
6.1
Changing the battery pack [2]
The working light can operate with any
Festool battery pack from the BPC or
BPS series.
6.2
On/Off switch [1-2]
The on/off switch [1-2] has three set-
tings:
– Press once -> activate LED with max.
luminosity (stage 1: 100%)
– Press twice -> reduce the luminosity
(stage 2: 50%)
– Press three times -> switch off
6.3
Charging state of the battery pack
The capacity display [1-3] automatically
displays the charge state of the battery
pack [1-2] when the ON/OFF switch is
actuated:
LED green – lit continu-
ously: charged > 60 %
LED green – flashing
slowly: charged 30 % – 60
%
LED green – flashing
quickly: charged 5 % – 30 %
LED yellow – lit continu-
ously: battery is
empty!Charge the battery
pack!
LED red – lit continuously:
battery temperature is out-
side the permitted range.
LED red – flashing: indi-
cates a general fault, e.g.
incomplete contact, short
circuit, battery pack faulty,
etc.
6.4
Attachment options
Scaffolding hook [1-4]
The scaffolding hook [1-4] (see illustra-
tion [3] for assembly) is used to hang the
device. Push the sides of the scaffolding
hook together to insert and remove from
the fixture on the housing.
Belt clip [1-5]
The belt clip (right/left) allows the user
to attach the machine briefly to work
clothing.
