IMPORTANT NOTE: Please refer to the end of this manual for all photos
that are referenced in parentheses in the instructions below.
Unpacking the Balance Bike
• Carefully remove all parts from the box and polybag.
• Identify the parts: frame with rear wheels, front wheel set, handlebar (with fixed sleeve installed),
seat(with screw installed), 5mm Allen wrench and documents (not shown).
• Remove the plastic coverings from any areas of the product and discard.
• Discard all packaging materials properly.
• DO NOT allow children to play with any packaging materials.
I WARNING:
Tools Required (included): 5mm Allen wrench.
Installing the Front Wheel
• Keep children away while assembling.
• Remove the protective plug from the tube of the front wheel set and discard it properly. (1)
• Orient the frame with rear wheels as shown and insert the tube of the front wheel set into the
frame tube. (2)
• Check to be sure that there is no gap between the top of the front wheel tube and the bottom of
the bracket on the frame tube. (3) If there is a gap, twist the front wheel set around until the tube
moves slightly up against the bracket and there is no gap. (4)
Installing the Handlebar
• Slide the cap up to expose the fixed sleeve attached with a bolt and nut. (5)
• Using the Allen wrench, unfasten and remove the nut and bolt on the handlebar, and remove the
fixed sleeve. (6)
• Attach the fixed sleeve onto the front wheel set tube so that it clicks into place and the holes in the
fixed sleeve align with the holes in the tube. (7) NOTE: You may have to rotate the fixed sleeve so
that it clicks into place and all the holes align. Once aligned, there should be no gap between the
bottom lip of the sleeve and the top of the tube. (8)
• Attach the handlebar into the fixed sleeve so that one set of holes in the handlebar aligns with the
holes in the fixed sleeve. (9)
IMPORTANT NOTE: The handlebar can be attached at two heights, depending on which
height is more comfortable for your child. Choose the set of holes in the handlebar that is most
appropriate. You can also change the handlebar height later as your child grows.
• From the side of the product, hold the cap up out of the way and push the bolt through the
handlebar, fixed sleeve and tube holes. (10)
• While still holding the cap out of the way, attach the nut to the bolt. (11)
• With one hand, continue holding the cap out of the way and hold the nut in place. Then use the
Allen wrench to tighten the bolt securely. (12)
• Ensure the handlebar is secure by slightly wiggling it.
• Push the cap down into place. (13)
I WARNING:
Installing the Seat
• Remove the protective plug from the tube of the frame and discard it properly. (14)
