Working Area Safety
1. Keep work area clean and well lit. Cluttered or dark areas invite accidents.
2. Do not operate machines in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable
liquids, gases or dust. Machines create sparks which may ignite the dust or fumes.
3. Do not let water get into the machines. If the machine is wet, do not operate it until it is
dry. Do not operate machine when it is standing in water. This will increase risk of electrical
shock.
4. Wear safety equipment (gloves and rubber soled, non-slip shoes) and apply safety
procedures when working area is wet. Use a properly functioning Ground Fault Circuit
Interrupter (GFCI) on the power cord. Place the machine on a dry surface.
