Preparing the appliance
The packaging materials must be
undamaged.
Inspect the appliance for transport
damage.
On no account should a damaged
appliance be put into operation.

Do not use sharp knives or other pointed
objects when opening to avoid damaging the
appliance.
Setting up the appliance
Place the heater at least 50 cm away
•
from furniture or other objects.
Do not use this appliance near a
•
bathtub, shower, washbasin or
swimming pool.
WARNING
FIRE HAZARD!
•
To reduce the risk of fire, keep textiles,
curtains or other flammable materials
at least 1 m away from the air outlet.
Never cover the appliance
•
during or shortly after
operation.
8. Cleaning and care
Regular cleaning and maintenance of the
appliance not only protects the environment
and saves energy, but also increases its service
life. The following description provides valuable
tips.
•
Always allow the appliance to cool
down completely before cleaning.
•
Always remove the plug from the
socket before cleaning.
Clean the air inlet/outlet grille
•
frequently with a dry cloth.

Set up the appliance in an easily

accessible location.
Set up the appliance on a level, dry and
•
sufficiently stable surface.
Do not place the appliance at the edge
•
of a surface.
Do not place any objects on the

appliance.

Never expose the appliance to high
temperatures (heaters, etc.) or adverse
weather conditions (rain, etc.).
7.1. Switching on the appliance
1. Turn the power level rotary knob (4)
from A (Off) to the desired ventilation.
A= Off
B= Cold setting without heat
C= I 1000 Watt power
C= II 2000 Watt power
2. Use the temperature control rotary knob
(2) (from left to right) to set the desired
temperature.
Regulating the temperature controller
When the room has reached the desired
temperature, turn the temperature control (2)
anticlockwise until the appliance is switched off
but not beyond.
In this way, the set temperature regulates itself
automatically.
Summer mode (ventilation only)
Turn the power level rotary knob (4) to position
B and ventilation starts.
Oscillation
Press the oscillation button (5) and the
ventilation blades rotate from left to right.
Disconnect the appliance from the
•
mains power supply.
•
Never immerse the appliance or the
remote control in water for cleaning.
•
Do not use a steam cleaner for
cleaning.
•
The heater is equipped with a safety
device that switches off the heater in
case of unintentional overheating (e.g.
blockage of the air inlet and outlet
grilles, slow or no rotation of the
motor). To reset, disconnect the
appliance from the mains for a few
minutes, eliminate the cause of
overheating and reconnect the
appliance.
