OPERATION:
• Place the barbecue on a flat, safe surface before you start to use it.
• When you use the barbecue for the first time, the charcoal should be red hot for at least
30 minutes before you start cooking.
• Put the charcoal in the charcoal bin
• If you use firelighters, place 3 or 4 pieces and divide them in the charcoal bin.
• Place the charcoals close together.
• Do not pile the coal higher than the charcoal bin, otherwise it will fall out or comes to
close to the grill and food.
• Never add lighter fluid to existing hot or warm coals.
• Light the blocks, or the charcoal with long safety matches or a long nosed lighter.
• As soon as the charcoal is covered with a grey ash coating (usually after 30 minutes), you
can spread the charcoal with long handle tongs. Do not start to prepare food before the
charcoal is covered with the grey ash coating.
• When removing the grill lid during cooking, lift it to the side, rather than straight up, to
avoid ashes to be drawn onto your food.
• Do not use water if the fire is flaming up because of fat dripping on the charcoal.
• Never use water to extinguish the fire; this will damage your barbecue. Use sand or ashes
• Always use suitable cooking accessories with long, heat resistant handles.
• Always wear heat resistant gloves to add charcoal or when interact with the barbeque
• Do not move, clean, cover or store the barbecue unless it has completely cooled down.
• Do not remove ashes or remaining charcoal if not completely extinguished. Coals can remain hot for a long time
unless they are fully burned or extinguished, they could re-ignite.
MAINTENANCE:
• Ensure that the barbecue has completely cooled down and the charcoal is extinguished.
• Remove food grill.
• Remove the ashes by taking out the charcoal bin.
• Clean your barbecue with a mild detergent and water.
• Rinse well and wipe dry.
• Do not use any abrasive products; these may scratch the paint of your barbecue.
CAUTION:
It is important that you clean and maintain your barbecue after every use. Before
barbecue for signs of fatigue or damage. If in doubt, do not use it anymore. This could be dangerous and
cause injury or damage.
WARNING:
• Keep pets and children away, from the hot Barbeque.
• Barbeque will become very hot do not move during operation.
• Do not use indoors.
• Do not use spirit, petrol or comparable fluids for lighting.
• Use only firelighters complying to EN1860-3.
