Change the system PIN
A system PIN code (default 0000) is used to protect your phone against unauthorized use.

Registration
Your handset and base station come pre-registered. Up to five handsets can be registered to a single
base station. If the handset is not registered to the base station (the
handset is near the base station), register your handset according to the following procedure.
Press and hold <PAGE> on the base station for about five seconds to switch it to registration mode.

Do not clean any part of this device with benzene, thinner, or other solvents as this may cause
irreversible damage not covered by the warranty. If necessary, clean the device with a damp cloth.
Do not expose the device to hot, humid conditions. Shield it from strong sunlight and prevent it from
getting wet.

GUARANTEES AND LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY

This device is guaranteed for a period of 36 months (including the legal 24 month guarantee as defined by local
law and an additional 12 month commercial guarantee offered by the brand) from the date of purchase against
any failure resulting from a manufacturing or material defect.
This guarantee does not cover damage resulting from faulty installation, incorrect use, or normal wear and tear.
This guarantee specifically does not cover:
Damage or problems caused by incorrect use, accidents, modifications, or an electrical connection with the
wrong current or voltage.
Products that have been modified or with a clearly tampering with seal or serial number that has been
damaged, altered, removed, or rusted.
Replaceable batteries and accessories after a guarantee period of 6 months.
Battery failure resulting from over-charging or non-compliance with the safety instructions specified in the manual.
Cosmetic damage, including scratches, dents, or other.
Damage caused by any servicing by non-authorised personnel.
Faults caused by normal wear and tear or the normal ageing of the product.
Software updates as a consequence of changes to network settings.
Product failure resulting from the use of third party software to modify, change or adapt the product as supplied.
Product failure resulting from its use without manufacturer-approved accessories.
Rusting of the device.
The manufacturer is not liable for the loss of data in device storage. Additionally, the manufacturer is not required
to check if SIM/SD cards have been removed from returned products.
Repaired or replaced products may include new and/or repackaged hardware and components.
IMPLEMENTATION METHODS:
To make a claim under this guarantee, please return the device to your local sales outlet with the proof of
purchase (receipt, invoice, etc.) for the product and accessories supplied, along with the original packaging.
The following information is required: date of purchase, model, and serial or IMEI number (this information can
generally be found on the device, the packaging, or proof of purchase).
If you cannot provide the above, you must return the product with all accessories required for it to function
properly (power cable, adapter, etc).
If your device is covered by this guarantee, the after-sales service will (within the bounds of the local regulations):
Repair or replace the faulty parts.
Exchange the returned product with a product with equal or better features that is equivalent in terms of
performance.
Refund the product at the price stated on the proof of purchase.
If a repair is carried out under coverage of the guarantee, the period of the guarantee will be extended by
