CAUTION!
• Please wear ground bracelet or touch metal faucet to release the static electricity. The external enclosure's PCB is very sensitive to static
discharges.
DUPLICATOR (CLONE) MODE
Note! The Duplicator Mode only works when the docking station is NOT
connected to a PC via the USB cable.
For clone function, you need two hard drives:
• Source Disk: drive with the data you want to duplicate (clone).
• Target Disk: in which you want to store the data of the source disk.
Attention: The capacity of the target disk should be equal or larger than the
source disk.
Caution! All data on your Target HDD will be lost. If you have important data
on the HDD, please prepare the backup copy before the Clone operation.
1. Make sure that the hard drives have no bad sectors. Bad sectors will
cause unpredictable problems.
2. Install the Source Disk into the A bay, then put the Target Disk into the B
bay.
3. Please make sure that the hard drives are correctly and firmly connected
to the SATA connectors of the docking station.
4. Connect the power adapter to the docking station and power outlet.
5. Press the power button to turn on the docking station. Wait at least 10
seconds till the docking station is prepared.
6. Hold down the Clone button for 3 seconds to begin duplication.
• During the Clone process, LED indicators will flash to show the
percentage of the progress.

7. When the Clone process is finished, please press the power button to
turn off the docking station. Please take out hard drives carefully
because they may be very hot.
IMPORTANT NOTE!
• Always safely remove the hardware from your computer before
disconnecting the devices. Improper removal may lead to data loss or
damage the hardware.
• Always keep a backup copy of your files. Manufacturer does not take
responsibility for damages resulting from lost data due to wrong operation
or malfuncion of the product, the software, personal computers or
peripheral devices.
• Warming up of the case surface and HDD's is an usual feature and doesn't
mean a defect. It is caused by cooling the electronics inside the case.
Please remove the HDD's with caution.
• The Clone process may take few hours to finish.
• The Clone process may produce noise.

DEVICE MODE
The device mode permits the docking station to act as external dual hard
drives that allows you to backup the data of your computer to those
external hard drives.
1. Make sure that those hard drives have no bad sectors.
Bad sectors will cause unpredictable problems.
2. Put one or two hard drives into the docking station. Please make sure
that the hard drives are correctly and firmly connected to the SATA
connectors of the docking station.
3. Connect the USB cable to the docking station and to a PC.
4. Connect the power adapter to the docking station and to power outlet.
5. Power up the docking station by pressing the power button.
6. The operating system should detect the new hardware.
