Unpacking the Appliance
1. Remove the appliance from its packaging.
2. Remove all packaging material, such as foils, filling
material, cable ties and cardboard packaging.
3. Check the scope of delivery for completeness.
4. If the contents of the packaging are incomplete or if
damage can be detected, do not operate the appliance.
Return it to the dealer immediately.
5. There may still be dust or production residues on the
appliance. We recommend that you clean the appliance
as described under "Cleaning".
Scope of Delivery
1 × Basic appliance
1 × Grill plate
8 × Pans
8 × Wooden spatulas
1 × Fondue pot
1 × Splash guard (fork holder)
8 × Fondue forks
1 × Natural stone
Warnings for the Use of the Appliance
WARNING:
• Never operate the fondue without oil or fat or any other
liquid. Fire hazard!
• Never add water to the oil! Danger of deflagration /
explosion!
• Oils and fats can burn if overheated. Be careful! Do
not forget to switch off the appliance after use! To do
this, first set the thermostats to the lowest position and
then pull the mains plug out of the socket.
• Contaminated oils and fats can easily catch fire!
Always remove food left in the oil / fat immediately.
Replace the oil / fat in good time.
• Keep a sufficient safety distance from easily flamma-
ble objects such as furniture, curtains, etc.
• If the appliance should catch fire, do not attempt to
extinguish the flames with water. Smother the flames
with a damp cloth. If necessary, cover the fondue pot
with a suitable pot lid.
• Do not move or carry the hot appliance while it is in
operation! Risk of burns! Hot liquids, hot steam and
oil splashes could escape.
• Do not exchange the fondue pot for the natural stone
or vice versa during operation. Risk of burns!
