6. Charging the battery

Before first use, the battery must be charged for approx. 10-12 hrs to ensure a full charge.
To charge the battery, proceed as follows:
a) Open the aluminium case and connect the charging socket of the exchangeable battery to the
charger.
Alternatively, the exchangeable battery can also be removed from the aluminium case.
b) LED display of the charger (Fig. 9):
LED "POWER" Red Switched on, no charging process.
LED CHARGING Red Battery is charging
LED CHARGING Green Battery is fully charged (trickle charge)
The charging time for a completely discharged battery is approx. 10-12 hours.
c) State of charge display (fig. 10):
The state of charge of the battery is shown on the LED display.
