OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
NOTE: Before using the tool, read the
instruction book carefully.
ASSEMBLY
1. MOUNTING THE WORKTABLE (See Fig. A, B)
1) Place the worktable on the machine frame from the
right. Please note that the blade is positioned in the
center of the table.
2) The bevel scale (16) of the worktable must be fitted in
the guide.
3) Screw on the locking lever (17) to clamp the worktable
in place.
4) Insert the aligning bolt (a) and tighten. Please note that
the wing nut (b) is located on the underside of the table.
2. INSTALL THE MITER GAUGE (See Fig. C)
Insert the miter gauge shaft to the table groove. Set the
required angle with the scale and tighten the locking knob.
3. SECURE THE MACHINE (See Fig. D)
To ensure sufficient upright stability of the machine,
it should be bolted to the floor or the bench. For this
purpose, four holes are provided in the machine's base
plate.
4. ADJUSTING BLADE TENSION (See Fig. E)
Before using the band saw, turn the blade tensioning
knob on the top of the saw clockwise to engage tension.
NOTE: Adjustments of blade tension can be made at
anytime.
—Another method of checking blade tension
has to do with the sound the blade makes when
plucked like a guitar string.
Pluck the back straight edge on the coasting side
opposite the blade guides while turning the tension knob.
