Statement of use
This product is designed for removing or polishing material
using coated abrasives or polishing attachments. No other
use permitted. For professional use only.
Product specific instructions
Installation of vibrating tools
We recommend using a minimum length of 300 mm (12") of
flexible hose for compressed air between a vibrating tool and
the quick-action coupling.
Before starting work

Free speed check
• The speed, measured at a pressure of 6.3 bars, must
not be higher than the rated speed marked on the
sander.

• Remove the backing pad and outer flange before do-
ing the free speed check.
• Do free speed checks daily and especially after a
long period of no use.
• Make sure that the speed marking on the tool is
readable.
• Return the tool for repair when it is overspeeding.
2.
Trigger check
• Make sure that the trigger works correctly.
• Replace the trigger if it does not work correctly.
• Never remove the trigger or lock it with tape.

Locking kit check
• Always use the locking kit if it is supplied with the
tool.
4.
Maximum speed check
• Make sure that the stated maximum speed of the
backing pad and abrasive sheet is higher than or
equal to the speed marked on the sander.
5.
Backing pad check
• Make sure that the backing pad is not cracked or
damaged in any way.
• Make sure that the backing pad have the correct hole
dimensions and is attached correctly on the spindle
to prevent unbalanced vibrations.
• Remove and replace damaged grinding wheels im-
mediately.
