Minimum gate opening for 3283ADJ60 / 3283ADJ72 is 24"
For gate openings not represented by the tables, add 1" of horizontal gate
frames length for each additional inch of gate opening. For example if the
gate opening is 44", cut each horizontal gate frames to 28".
Step 3:
Assemble the gate frame using the vertical and horizontal gate frames.
Ensure the final assembly is square and correctly fits into the gate
opening, ensuring 2" exist between each side of the assembled gate
frame and the gate post opening. Install the self-tapping screws into
each corner of the gate frame using a screwdriver or nut driver.
Hinge Side
Step 4:
Install the truss wire. The top connection is the hinge side of the gate,
the bottom connection is the latch side of the gate. (Figure 2) Hook the
turnbuckle to the hinge side hole, and the hook to the latch side hole.
Use truss wire clamp to secure the latch side of the truss wire
(Figure 2). Tighten the truss wire using the turnbuckle. When
complete, trim off any excess wire.
Step 5:
Install the chain link fabric on the assembled gate frame. Thread the
tension bar through one side of the gate fabric and secure with the
gate clips. Roll the fabric out across the gate frame and pull taught.

Latch Side
If the chain link fabric is too long, remove as many links as needed by
twisting one row counter clockwise to remove excess fabric. Thread
the second tension bar through the fabric and connect to the gate
frame using the gate clips (Figure 3). Install tie wires to secure the top
and bottom fabric to the gate frame. (Figure 3)
Step 6:
Hang the gate on the gate posts. Install the frame hinges on the hinge
side of the assembled gate frame. Install the fork latch on the latch
side of the gate frame (Figure 4). Set the post hinges (not included).
Set the gate onto the post hinges and tighten all nuts to secure in
place. The gate should freely open and close with little effort.

FOR DRIVE GATES
For drive gates, the size of each gate is calculated as follows: Measure
the opening between the gate posts. Subtract 6 inches. Divide that
number by 2. For example, the opening between the gates posts is 96
inches. 96-6 = 90. 90 ÷ 2 = 45. Each gate panel should be 45" wide.
Repeat Steps 3-6 above for the second adjustable gate.
NOTE: only one fork latch will be installed between the two
gates. Add the drive gate drop rod assembly (sold separately)
to the drive gate per the instructions provided with the drop rod
assembly.
