Installation of a residual current appliance (FI/RCD) with a rated residual operating current of no
more than 30 mA is recommended to provide additional protection. Ask your electrician for
advice. The installation should only be carried out by a qualified electrician.
DANGER! Risk of electric shock
Check the appliance and the connector cable regularly for damage. Never put the appliance
into operation if there are visible damages to the appliance or the connector cable or if the
appliance has been dropped before.
Only connect the power unit to a properly installed, easily accessible power socket, the voltage
of which corresponds to the specifications on the type plate of the power unit. The power
socket must continue to be easily accessible after the appliance is plugged in.
Lay the connector cable so that no one can step on it, get caught on it, or trip over it.
Please be careful not to damage the connector cable:
– Keep the cable away from hot surfaces and sharp edges.
– Ensure that the connector cable is not trapped or crushed.
When removing the power unit from the power socket, always pull the power unit and never
the connector cable.
Even after it has been switched off, the appliance has not been completely disconnected from
the mains. For this, pull out the power unit.
Pull the power unit out of the power socket, ...
– after every use,
